The price! EUR 7 for two adults and 2 children of the age of 3 and 5. Wow. In Lithuania I would have paid EUR 20 :)Liked the paintings and pieces of art connected to the soviet era. Also, the fotographs of that time speak a lot. Spend 2 hours to get your energy restored by watching the art. Recommend.

Excellent exhibitions, one of the very best arranged museums in Europe. After the tour, you can enjoy nice view from the building’s terrace.

Entrance ticket is 6EUR for adults, very reasonable price for what the museum had to offer. Was a pleasure to visit!

Skaists un interesants muzejs. Ja dodaties sr bērniem tad noteikti info centrā pajautājiet ģimenes mugursomu, tajā ir dažādi uzdevumi, ko paveikt bērniem - atrast gleznas, salikt puzlītes, akmentiņi no kā darinātas skulptūras. Bērniem ļoti patika veikt šos uzdevumus un tas vairāk ieinteresēja gleznu aplūkošanā. Ceturtajā stāvā ir interesanti pastaigāt pa stikla grīdu. Pavadījām kādas divas stundas, visi priecīgi devāmies mājās pagleznot :) Ģimenes biļete ar 3+ karti 5 eur.

Beautiful painings but I have the feeling they have much more to show but they don't have enough space. There are only a few rooms with paintings, you can easily visit everything in one hour or less. The price for the ticket is 6 eur.

Maybe as an immigrant, I always thought that I had a hard time in Latvia. When I see the photos and the hardships of the people of Europe during the war, I feel that in order to understand the people of a society, we must refer to their past. Latvia Library will open your mind.

The roof of this building creates a great place to exhibit art work. The terrace gives a great view of the city.This was the first gallery where I could see how they archive their collections. It was fascinating to see.Compared to many art galleries and museums, I never felt overloaded and burnt out after my visit. The art is presented beautifully.

Quality art in a beautiful building. The incredible history of Latvia is interwoven in. Loved the feminist exhibit in the lower level the most!

Muzejs pats par sevi iespaidīgs, latviešu vecmeistaru gleznas lieliskas, gleznu krātuve, mainīgās izstādes, ir vērts apmeklēt! Diemžēl, dažiem apmeklētājiem un darbiniekiem gan vēl jāiemācās, ka muzejs nav īstā vieta,kur ilgstoši pļāpāt pa telefonu!

The museum was a good surprise for us. It was renovated in 2014. It has also a good and free app which you can install and use as audioguide.
